RAKTDA Unleashes the Sky's Potential: Air Sports Integrated into Adventure Tourism Blueprint

The Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA) has taken a significant step in ensuring the safety and quality of the air sports activities in the Emirate by acquiring the services of Air Sports Group (ASG). The aim was to conduct a comprehensive study including a safety assessment and review of the facilities and operations located on Jebel Jais in Ras Al Khaimah.

Whilst air sports inherently carry a degree of risk, this risk can be mitigated by adhering to internationally recognised safety standards. ASG's strategic partnership with the World Air Sports Federation (FAI), the global authority for air sports, positions them perfectly to deliver international best practice and standards everywhere in the world, across multiple air sport disciplines.

RAKTDA's collaboration with ASG underscores its commitment to the safety and sustainability of air sports activities in Ras Al Khaimah. By maintaining rigorous safety standards, RAKTDA continues to position the Emirate as a leading adventure destination for local, regional and international tourists alike.
